8 Weeks and Running through Pregnancy

Okay so technically I am 9 weeks today, but I'm a little slow posting, so this is my 8 week update. Before I do my questions I just want to write a little bit on how running is going. I've made it a goal of mine to try and run throughout this whole thing, starting with a half marathon next month that I signed up for long before we found out.
Running is really hard!! At 8 weeks I can already tell that its just going to keep getting harder. I was doing so good at first. Running 6 miles and feeling great the whole time. When I slowed my pace down from a 9 minute mile to an 11 minute mile, it first felt like I could just run forever at that pace, but last weekend there was a whole slew of other things going on. Tailbone pain is at the top of my list right now (which usually goes away a few minutes into running). I'm just so nervous still about over doing it, so if I feel like I'm sweating too much or breathing too hard I take it down to a walk, which is very frustrating for someone who doesn't like to walk on a run. Usually if I'm not feeling it I would just cut the run short, but I don't like to walk. So this is definitely a change in pace (no pun intended) that I really have to get used to. I hope after my first doctor appt. and I get the A-Ok that everything looks good, I'll be less paranoid.
The half marathon next month (a week and a half actually, yikes!) is going to be tough, its down in Miami Beach so I'm a little worried about the heat, although the race starts at 6:13am so I'm hoping we're okay that time of day. Its just going to be a long morning of running a half mile, walking a quarter mile. But I think it will be the most rewarding thing to say I did, so I'm very excited, even if it takes me all day!

Movement:  Nothing yet
Food cravings:  Lemonade is a thing now.

7 Weeks

How far along? 7.4 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Same
Maternity clothes?  Not yet (ordered some stuff online for our upcoming vacations though)
Stretch marks?  No
Sleep: I've gone back to sleeping just fine through the night. Not even getting up to pee (unless I drink too much at bedtime)
Best moment this week: I guess ordering some new clothes for vacation, although I would have been doing this anyway, just not from the maternity section!
Have you told family and friends:  Only the ones we told right away still know, the rest have to wait a couple more weeks!
Miss Anything?  WINE! Try going on a wine tour and not being able to drink, torture! (Luckily it was wine paired with chocolate for Valentine's Day and everyone felt bad for me so I got lots of extra chocolate!)
Movement:  No
Food cravings: Early in the week I really wanted a soft pretzel with cheese, now they are not so much cravings as much as me just constantly thinking about what my next meal will be.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not anything specifically. My stomach has been doing flips once in awhile, usually when I start to get hungry, so I was keeping goldfish close by. This past weekend was the first sign of it, It lasted through the beginning of the week but I've been good the past 2 days.
Have you started to show yet: Not yet, my mom insisted I was getting a bump, I told her it was wishful thinking and thanked her for calling me fat already!
Gender prediction: Still haven't decided on my guess yet.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out?  In
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but very tired.
Weekly Wisdom: My only thoughts this week were that I was only on week 7 and I have a loooong way to go still!
Looking forward to: Our sonogram in just 2 weeks!

7 weeks- 33 weeks to go, Yikes!

Food cravings: Not really, I'll still eat just about anything
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, the headache I had yesterday made me not feel so hot!

Telling Family and (some) Friends

We finally made our rounds and told our Family and some close friends this weekend! We went around to our parents house on Sunday before the Superbowl (on my birthday - and what a memorable one it was!) We told both our parents and siblings the same way, I made these little keepsake cards for everyone. Our Mom's both said "The only thing better then having you for a mom, is our child having you for a Grandma!!" Our Dad's cards said "The Best Dad's get promoted to Grandpa" and our brothers and sisters cards all said "I can't wait to meet my Aunt/Uncle!!" The insides all looked the same with a picture of our running sneakers and an extra tiny pair!
It was so much fun telling everyone, I wish I would have been better about taking photos when we told everyone, we did manage to capture a moment when we told some friends. Both the girls are already pregnant, so I told them I wanted a birthday picture and when Dan held up the camera to get a picture of the three of us, he said "a picture of all the pregnant ladies!" She didn't get it at first and he had to say it a few times, but her reaction was priceless when she finally got it. Here is the one moment we did manage to catch on camera! The bottom one is blurry because she was running all around! Haha

We told some of our other friends with some clever one liners, Dan spilled the beans once by saying that he had a DD all summer long, took them a minute but they caught on quick. Another set of friends, who are 6 weeks ahead of us, we told by asking them if they wanted to take Baby classes together! We're waiting to tell everyone else until after my first sonogram which will be February 28th. Once we have the "all is good" from the Doctor I'll feel better about telling everyone else, and boy will that be easier! Going out with friends is so complicated now, coming up with excuses about why your not drinking on your birthday and during the Superbowl is pretty tricky! It will be nice when we don't have to pretend anymore!
