The end of week 29!

Once again I am behind, so I'm actually posting while in my 30th week, but you get the idea....the update will be from last week!

Lisa and Dan tied the knot on Friday July 26th, it was absolutely perfect! The weather was beautiful and the bride was even more beautiful! I really cannot believe she is married already, it felt so far away and now its come and gone, which means Baby Mags is going to be here soooo soon too! Below are a few pictures I will share from the wedding, I just can't help myself, it turned out so perfect!

Me and my husband!
Proud Dad walking the beautiful Bride down the aisle!

How far along? End of week 29
Total weight gain/loss:  Still up 24 lbs. as far as I know
Maternity clothes?  We know my answer to this one
Stretch marks?  None
Sleep: Sleeping ok. Waking up more in the middle of the night, not really to pee, but just because I am uncomfortable. The belly is getting heavy so even sleeping on my side now requires that I tuck a pillow under me, which isn't the most comfortable, I'm thinking it may be time for one of those body pillows, but I just hate how much room they take up in bed.
Best moment this week: My sister's wedding!! It was so much fun and everything was so great! She did such a great job planning everything (with my help of course - yes I'll take a little credit!) It was a very long day, but due to wedding tradition, I tried not to leave the dance floor too much, and I hardly sat down all night, which I paid dearly for on Saturday, but it was worth it! We had a nice recovery day and by Sunday Dan and I were ready to be productive around the house! We got SO much done in the nursery (which is my second best moment this week). The dresser is now fully assembled, and stocked with some clothes that I got (and bought myself) we put the crib together, and I bought a few more decor things, like some art for the walls and a new table lamp. I'm hoping to do a nursery sneak peak picture soon, but I'm waiting until things are a little more finished, getting so close though!
Miss Anything? The usual....wine, my old summer clothes, sitting, standing and walking normal. Feeling like my old self in general. Growing a human is tough work, I'm so glad there is a finish line for this!
Movement:  I don't think I even need to answer this question!! Of course there is a ton! Dan and I get a kick out of watching my whole stomach move at night when we're on the couch. I tried to get a video of it, but it just doesn't do it justice. Its also so weird when I get lopsided. She still seems to be breech as far as I can tell, with her head on my right side. I'm waiting to feel something different in hopes that she's flipped over.
Food cravings: Not much, I get full so easily. I guess Ice cream is still a hot item, but I think its every pregnant women's excuse to just eat all the ice cream she wants!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: Getting pretty big, not really liking it, ready to put my skinny pants on again! (I am excited to start seeing Fall clothes out in stores, it means I can can shop for my normal size soon hopefully)
Labor Signs: I get a shooting pain on my right side sometimes, especially when she give me a good swift kick, but no labor pains yet. Still terrified to answer yes on this one!
Belly Button in or out? Out, you can now see it in almost everything I wear! It does go flat when I lay in bed though, I think Baby Girl just kicks it out during the day!
Wedding rings on or off?  On, they seem to be feeling a little tighter lately but I don't plan to take them off unless they hurt me.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I am so excited to see the nursery take shape, and the closer we get to the shower the more things I am starting to get! Its so fun coming home from work to packages on my door step, gifts for my little girl! Makes everything way more real now that she has a room in the house where there are so many baby things.
Weekly Wisdom: I'm feeling a little run down this week. Got some sort of a bug (sore throat, runny/stuffy nose) I think between the wedding, family in town, and getting so much done around the house I over did it a little bit. I'm trying to take it easy this week, have a big party to go to this upcoming Saturday with friends but I'm only going for the day instead of staying over night. I feel like I may need to just slow down a little and rest, hard to do with so much going on but my weekly wisdom for myself is to just take it easy!
Looking forward to: My Shower in a week and a half, Dan's dad will be in town for that. Looking forward to seeing a lot of friends and family, that I haven't seen much this summer!

And here is my photo that I FINALLY remembered to take this week. It is actually a few days into my 30th week, but I don't think I got that much bigger in a few days! Although at this rate you never know. I feel like a cow!

28 Weeks

Yes I know I'm super far behind! I am not so good at taking the pictures which means I keep putting off posting until I have a picture. I'm doing a 28 week update here, but I don't have a picture. I will do my 29 week update shortly and I promise to have a photo then!

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:  Up 24 lbs at my last doctor appointment, which was last Thursday the 18th
Maternity clothes?  Still yes and no on this one. I am finding that they do in fact make maternity clothes for a reason, but I still can't justify spending money on them!
Stretch marks?  Nope holding strong!
Sleep: Still sleeping really good actually. I don't even get up to pee in the middle of the night too often. I toss and turn a lot since being restricted to my sides isn't my preferred sleep position, but in general I can't complain. Baby Girl likes to move around a lot right at bed time and sometimes that prevents me from falling asleep right away, but I'm usually so tired it doesn't last long.
Best moment this week: We went camping with friends last weekend and had a really great time! They all have two little ones already so it was a good taste of baby fever! I was a little uncomfortable though since camping chairs and air mattresses aren't pregnant friendly, but its something we've done every year for a few years now and a fun tradition we are starting. I will share a photo at the end of this of our "Then and Now" last year when we went the other two with babies were pregnant, this year it was my turn. Things have changed for us!
Miss Anything?  Being comfortable with normal things, like sitting. I am starting to just feel uncomfortable all the time, sitting, standing, laying.... it all only lasts a few minutes before I need to change position. I am looking forward to getting back to my normal self!
Movement:  TONS!! Movements are so strong now and so frequent, I don't think she ever stops. We asked the doctor if this was normal and her reply was "An active baby is a healthy baby" So it seems like we just have one active little girl! Just like her parents I guess.... Neither Dan or I can sit still very long!
Food cravings:  Not really, the hungry all the time thing has sub-sided some, I just don't have room to eat a lot now. My sister's wedding this week has slowed down my ice cream at night, but other then that I pretty much eat what I want!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, gagged myself this morning a little bit brushing my teeth, still have a kinda sensitive gag reflex.
Have you started to show yet: Yes! Baby girl is growing perfectly, we had a sono and they took all her measurements of head and belly and everything is right on track, My belly was even measuring slightly ahead! (maybe she'll be here early!!)
Gender prediction: Its still a girl!! (Our sono confirmed this again on Thursday, lol)
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Its popped out! Not a lot but you can definitely tell!
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I am getting tired a lot more easily, and with the heat we've had lately its made it hard to breath outside (that and I have a little one squishing my lungs!!) I've finally got Dan to start working on the nursery! We're halfway through putting the dresser together, and we painted. I also got a few shower gifts in the mail, and a whole bunch of clothes were donated to me, so I am little by little working on the nursery! All things to just be excited about! Haven't gotten to the point of panic over having a baby soon!! I'm sure that will come!
Looking forward to: My Sister's wedding this week is the BIG one! Also looking froward to my shower that is only 2 weeks away now! I'm horrible at peeking at my registry, but Baby Girl already has some really nice things coming her way, and I can't wait to start organizing everything in the nursery! She needs so much stuff and I am so grateful and excited for the shower so we can get a little help with all the stuff she is going to need! Man babies are needy!

Below is a creepy picture from our sonogram this week. The tech had a hard time getting a good photo of her, she moves around a lot and she is getting so big that it was hard to capture the whole thing. The picture is of her face (you can kinda see her eyes, nose and mouth even though she's on her side).... She is in a Frank Breech position as of now, they are going to keep an eye on her and we're hoping she flips over on her own by 35 weeks, otherwise we may be looking at a scheduled C-section at 39 weeks.

And to the right is the other picture I promised from our camping trip! This was last years camping trip where the other two ladies were pregnant (Becky and Chris had just spilled the beans to us that weekend) and then our picture from this year, where we've added 2 more to our 6 pack and have another on the way!

26 Weeks

Lots of things happening this week!! We started taking our baby classes this week at the hospital. Dan was dreading me dragging him there on a beautiful night, but we actually learned a lot. Covered things like the labor and delivery process, when to go to the hospital, signs of labor etc. We also got to watch a lovely birth video, (made me want a c-section a little more) and also made me a lot more nervous for the whole delivery thing! Yikes! I think I might just cry the whole time. We have two more sessions the next two weeks, but we are all pre-registered at the hospital now and one step closer to meeting Baby Mags!
I also have made some headway on the nursery. Lots of my online orders have been coming in and our trip to Ikea was successful. I got everything I set out for and we even got a rocker for our master bedroom. I put together some of the pieces all by myself, the rest Dan won't let me do, so I have to be patient and just continue to nag him to do it!
Everything else is going good, the Babe continues to move ALL the time, which is very good, we were supposed to get a sono at my doctors appointment this week, but we're gonna hold off until 28 weeks. I start going to the doctor every 2 weeks now, but as of Monday I was measuring spot on for 26 weeks and her heart rate was a perfect 150, everything else was great and I must have passed my glucose test because they said they would only call if something was off and I haven't heard from anyone!
Only 13 more weeks to go! I felt like it was going so slow at first, but all of a sudden now I can't believe how soon she will be here!!! I would also like summer to slow down a little bit!!

How far along? 26. 4 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:  20 lbs
Maternity clothes?  Some
Stretch marks?  None
Sleep: Sleeping great, really would like to sleep on my stomach again
Best moment this week: Putting together some of the pieces of our nursery, its starting to take shape a little bit! My sister sent out my shower invitations which are adorable and I'm so excited for that! And lastly, our good friend Paul decided to be an awesome friend and purchase us our oh so expensive Breast Pump! Kinda weird coming from him, but I could not be more thankful! It was a good week for "Best moments"!
Miss Anything? I miss being able to do things for myself. There are so many things for the nursery and around the house I want to do, like paint, and I cannot. I am more of the mindset "If you want a job done right, do it yourself", Its hard to let that one go, even though I know I should be taking advantage of letting people do things for me now.
Movement:  Yes, and even little hiccups, usually 2-4 times a day the movement is very rhythmic... poor thing, I wish I could stop them for her, she starts going crazy in there whenever she gets them.
Food cravings:  Not really any cravings, I feel like my eating is a little more back to normal. I can't physically eat that much in one sitting, so its lots of small meals. But I've been going a little nuts on all the pastas and carbs with all these BBQs and 4th of July parties!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Have you started to show yet: Oh yeah
Labor Signs: No and after seeing that video, I don't ever want to write yes to this!
Belly Button in or out? Depends on the day a little bit, but for the most part its popped out
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Starting to feel exhausted a little more easily though.
Looking forward to: Another sonogram (for real this time) in 2 weeks! And my sister's wedding is just 3 weeks away now too, and I've managed to keep the weight gain under control so far, which my goal was to not look like a cow in her wedding, so I'm glad its so close now!!
